Ben Muscolino

Benjamin Muscolino is an established consultant and tech executive in the association and nonprofit markets. He has worked in the association/nonprofit technology arena for 13+ years, dating back to 2007, and held various roles at Avectra and Abila (now Community Brands), before stepping away to start multiple companies and work with hundreds of customers on thousands of projects in the Association Management Systems (AMS) market. Ben has worked in roles including sales leadership as well as product management, he’s managed client services divisions and been appointed director of market strategy. From 2014 until making a successful exit at the end of 2018, Ben was co-founder of a multi-million-dollar firm that specialized in AMS strategy especially geared toward the performance, implementation, support and integration of systems across the association management systems market. A major focus for the firm was on proprietary systems, middleware and end to end integration technologies for Personify, netFORUM Enterprise, netFORUM Pro, YourMembership.com, iMIS, Aptify, ACGI, Impexium, Microsoft and Salesforce based systems, various donor systems and more. Ben is an active industry speaker, volunteer and committee member for multiple associations and nonprofits including the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), Maryland Tech Council (MTC), Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), and frequently leads conference content around database systems implementation methodology, integration and data strategy as well as member and donor engagement scoring. Ben has led his companies through major technology initiatives including integration and custom AMS projects for groups like California Teachers Association (CTA), the National Business Officers Association (NBOA), the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), The Gideons International, the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and YWCA just to name a few.
